Honor has officially launched the new Honor Play 60 Plus in China, an entry level smartphone with a premium design and good features (for the price).

The Play 60 Plus boasts a 6.77 LCD display with HD+ resolution of 720 1610 pixels x has always been update frequency of 120Hz. The front is adorned with a selfie camera from 5 megapixel, while on the back we find a setup of 50 megapixel + 2 megapixel dual camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal UFS 3.1 memory. Despite its entry-level category, the Play 60 Plus doesn't skimp on storage capacity.
One of the most notable features is his battery by 6,000mAh, which supports a quick charge from 35W, promising extended autonomy and reduced charging times.
The operating system is based on Magic OS with Android 14, and offers further 8 GB of virtual RAM. Other features include the side fingerprint reader and the audio jack from 3.5mm. The device measures 166.9 x 76.8 x 8.24mm and weighs 198 grams. Furthermore, it is equipped with IP64 certified dust and water resistance and passed the c5-star SGS drop and pressure resistance certification of Switzerland.
Prices and availability
The Honor Play 60 Plus is available in China in two variants: the one from 12 GB RAM with 256 GB of storage priced at 1499 Yuan (around 190 euros) and the 12 GB RAM with 512 GB of memory at the price of 1699 Yuan (around 220 euros). The phone is offered in three elegant colors: Phantom Night Black, Moon Shadow White and Wonderland Green.
We can say that the Play 60 Plus is an interesting new alternative in its range, offering a device that combines high performance, modern design and a competitive price. Now we just have to find out if the device will also be brought to Italy
