About two months from presentation in China, the smartwatch with unbeatable autonomy finally arrives in Italy. We are obviously talking about the new Huami Amazfit Bip Lite that is going on sale today on the official Amazfit website.
The smartwatch dedicated to sports has as its main feature increased autonomy of up to 45 days and improved waterproofing to go up to 30 meters deep, which makes it a great device to wear even when you go swimming. There is also support for notifications and various features to monitor health and our physical activities.
Amazfit Bip Lite with 45 autonomy days officially presented in Italy
Let's start with the last ones: physical activities. The Amazfit Bip Lite is able to track up to four different cardio activities, automatically monitoring our heart rate with the new optical heart rate monitor type PPG. To check the data collected, it is then possible to navigate within the new interface on the smartwatch or simply go to the dedicated Amazfit app.
As we said before, the Bip Lite is now waterproof up to 3ATM. This means that we can use it on any occasion without any worries, such as when we go swimming or snorkeling. While if we are resting or sleeping, the smartwatch will monitor our sleep, showing us data that will make us understand if we sleep little or badly, thus helping us to change our habits and improve our health.
Returning instead to the most important news in our opinion, or autonomy. Huami lets us know that the Amazfit Bip Lite has an autonomy of 45 days in normal use, so without where to save energy in any way. This makes it one of the smartwatches with the longest autonomy on the market.
From a design standpoint, there is hardly any change from the much loved Amazfit Bip. In fact, the square design with rounded corners remains, the screen is of the trans-reflective type to be seen perfectly even under sunlight and there is the Always-On function to keep the display always active and legible. Finally, the smartwatch weighs only 32 grams, so we won't even notice we're wearing it (or almost).
The Amazfit Bip Lite is now on presale on the official website Amazfit for the price of 59,99 €. The shipments will begin on the 7 August 2019.
Sorry, what's less than the standard version?
It has no GPS.
The GPS is there, so where is the difference?
On Gearbest it says https://it.gearbest.com/smart-watches/pp_1126414.html?wid=1349303
GearBest (and not only him) to date has used the LITE nomenclature to identify the international version of the beep that is actually the one you link to.
The NEW Bip Lite is not yet available on GearBest and I confirm to 100% that it has no GPS.
PS We are already testing it ...
Ah well, so one buys it and maybe gets screwed, since distinguishing it from the other is quite difficult if they do not specify well, thanks
Thank you. And how much battery life which of the 2 is better?
Tomorrow you will find here on the site and on the youtube channel (https://xiaomi.today/yt) the review.
I anticipate that the increase in battery, the introduction of bluetooth 4.2 BLE and some optimizations have really increased the autonomy. Obviously when we talk about 45 days, it is a "typical" scenario
Theoretically the Bip Lite has 45 days of autonomy against the 30 of the beep.
Edit: On the site also the Bip is given with 45 days of autonomy, but maybe if it is used less? Hard to say ..
