Our CEO Simone Rodriguez in the last two months has been busy with testing the various AmazFit sportwatches, but perhaps he doesn't know that the Chinese technology giant has in store a series of smartwatches dedicated to the smaller Mi Fans. Will he then have to educate his son? Seriously, about two years ago Xiaomi launched the first generation of Mi Bunny, or smartwatches for children, which unfortunately were limited in terms of functionality.
Now it seems that Lei Jun's company is ready for the release of two new smartwatches that will have more complete functions. Mi Kids should be the name and should integrate a camera to take pictures and I see in Full HD as well as the ability to make and answer calls.
The wearables have received the certification of the Bluetooth SIG database: the first model has number MTSB08XUN, registered the 10 September and will carry the name of Mi Kids Smartwatch 4 Pro. In addition to the detail on the Bluetooth that will be of type 5.0 no further specifications emerge, although there to expect an AMOLED display, LTE connectivity and fitness band functions. In short, almost better than the wearables that we adults wear on our wrist.
However, another more basic smartwatch could be fused to the above model, as a September 20 certification reveals the MTSB09XUN model, the Mi Kids Smartwatch 2S, with 4.0 Bluetooth module. One thing, however, we hope, in addition to a technical sheet and improved functionality, it would be really interesting if for once Xiaomi also addresses this type of gadget to the international market, even by simply integrating support for multiple languages. On the other hand, the widespread sales network of brand products is really wide.
