iQOO recently expanded its Z9 series with two new members: iQOO Z9s e iQOO Z9s Pro. Both devices share many key features, including 6,67-inch curved AMOLED display, 50MP main cameras and 5.500 mAh batteries. However, there are some key differences worth exploring.

Both phones come with FHD+ display at 120Hz, but the Z9s Pro's panel achieves a local peak brightness of 4.500 nits, compared to the Z1.800s' 9 nits. Both displays include under-screen optical fingerprint readers as well 16MP front cameras housed in a hole.
The differences between the two devices also extend to the chipsets. The Z9s Pro it is powered by the chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Z9s uses MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC. Both phones can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
On the back, the two models share the same 50MP main camera with Sony IMX882 sensor, which offers optical image stabilization (OIS) and video recording up to 4K. The main camera also supports AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance functions. However, the Z9s Pro comes with a second one 8MP ultrawide camera, while the Z9s has a 2MP portrait camera.
Both phones run with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and will receive two years of Android software updates and three years of security updates. Furthermore, they offer dust and water resistance with IP64 certification and 5.500 mAh batteries with 80W wired charging for the Pro model and 44W for the standard model.
In terms of design, iQOO Z9s is available in Titanium Matte and Onyx Green colors, while the Z9s Pro is offered in Luxe Marble and Flamboyant Orange variants, the latter with a vegan leather back.
As for prices, iQOO Z9s starts from 19999 Indian Rupees (€215) and goes up to INR 23.999 ($285) for the version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The Z9s Pro, however, will be available at starting from 24999 Indian Rupees (270€) for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
