The SPORTLINK WaterProof Case is therefore very particular, as it has the appearance of a normal case, but allows you to use the iPhone, in my case the 11 Pro model, even in water and protect it from sand and dust. In the package we find the actual case, a black wrist cord, a cloth for cleaning the phone and the cover itself and finally the instruction manual and tool for opening the case.
The solution proposed by the brand is IP68 certified, i.e. waterproof up to 2 meters for 30 minutes (permanent at 1 meter depth) and resistant to watertightness against dust and dirt. Even in water it is possible to use the touch screen to take photos and record videos although in this case we do not have extreme fluidity of the touch screen while the movement on the screen is super fluid when we are in standard conditions. In fact, when we are out of the water, without removing the iPhone from the case we can make calls, open apps or listen to music in complete tranquility.
The waterproof and dustproof degrees of the SPORTLINK WaterProof Case have passed stringent tests that led to IP686 certification, but we also have resistance to ice and snow as well as falls of up to 2 meters. The aesthetic solution adopted by the custodians also allows Face ID to recognize our face without hesitation, having the same hands-free audio quality as the iPhone without a cover.
As already mentioned, we are also protected from scratches and falls from 2 meters and for those who don't like the heat we are also protected from snow and ice but not from low temperatures, obtaining the MIL STD 810G standard. The entire profile of the case is anti-scratch with a surface hardness of 3H while in the lower part we find a special waterproof membrane which effectively protects the microphones, speakers and charging input while preserving sound quality. To install the SPORTLINK WaterProof Case you need to match the two pieces, front and rear, keeping the lower membrane open (the one that protects the speakers and charging input) to let any excess air escape. Particular attention must also be paid to matching the mute button and in this case the advice is to insert the smartphone on the side of this button. Once the device is inserted, check that all the hardware buttons are accessible, otherwise repeat the operation. Plus, you can rest assured that this case won't interfere with radio signals, Bluetooth, or wireless charging, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted connectivity and convenience. To extract the device, you need to open the back part by leveraging it with the special tool supplied, inserting it into the slot found on the lower edge.
Having said that, aesthetically the SPORTLINK WaterProof Case is a "classic" case, an absolute novelty for waterproof covers, which are usually not the best in design. The protection is high, especially from dust and sand, but even the waterproofness does not seem to limit its use at sea and in the pool. The possibility of still using all the functions of the phone without having to remove it from the case is excellent. Even when dropped, it proved to be a reliable companion for my phone, keeping it and the internal components safe, such as the generally more sensitive camera.
For the price at which it is sold, I really recommend anyone who owns an iPhone or Samsung to consider the solutions offered by SPORTLINK. The case I tested passed all the tests with flying colors and therefore I can only recommend it.
