The Xiaomi Mi band is a leader in the Q2 wearable device market in India

One of the successful products of the Xiaomi company does not belong to the smartphone category but to that wearable, in which the Mi Band series has dominated the sales charts since the first generation and that still continues to garner consents and successes. And a recent report by market research firm IDC highlighted this year's Q2 second-quarter data for wearable devices in India, where Xiaomi achieved 45,8% market share by winning first place .

According to the report, the shipments of wearable devices in India exceeded 1 million units in the second quarter, with an increase of 66% on an annual basis and 40% on a quarterly basis, resulting in the best quarter in the wearable sector in India. The first three brands maintained their respective positions compared to the previous quarter. The category that is best is represented by the classic fitness band, those in the shape of a bracelet for internderci, that they represent almost 90% of the shipments of wearable devices in India in the second quarter. Then follow the smartwatch / sportwatch which increase the total shipments by 34%, but in this sector Apple is the leader.
