In these hours Amazfit has released on the Play Store the major release 4.0 of its Android app, which brings brand new graphics and a substantial reorganization of all its contents.
The Amazfit 4.0 app
When the application is opened, the distortion in progress begins immediately, starting with the now dark and indispensable and very trendy interface.
La "Homepage" tab shows from a long but tidy series of boxes, unfortunately not orderable, which show the values acquired by the various devices in their possession. In my case right now the Amazfit GTS and the Mi Composite Scale 2.
Each box is clickable and allows you to access the detail of the single element, check its progress and history both graphically and textually. For example in the previous version, it was not possible to find the history of the balance data (basal metabolism, proteins, muscle mass, etc.)
A slide from below shows a series of quick links (configurable) to sports activities and the most used functions (running, walking, cycling, alarm clock, events, etc.) and replaces what was the "training" section which was instead integrated in the screen.
The "Friends" tab disappears to make room for “Have fun” tab (many are still forced translations) where we find a part of the links in the section just mentioned.
La "Profile" tab remained substantially unchanged and non-dark, as well as the "have fun" one.
There are still some smudges in the translation ("Composition settings" for the choice of the watchface) but overall the app goes a step further confirming the direction taken by Huami already with version 3.
To personally enjoy these news, you just have to update the app or download it from PlayStore.
