The MIUI 11 Camera app reveals the arrival of an Xiaomi smartphone with 8K video support

A few hours have passed since the presentation of the new Xiaomi interface, namely the MIUI 11, which will accompany the new Mi 9 Pro 5G flagship and the amazing Mi Mix alpha. As you well know Xiaomi has also released a sort of roadmap about the release of the new MIUI 11, which starting from mid-September should start to peep on the latest generation devices but also on old glories of the past. In the pre-launch period of MIUI 11 we told a series of news but the surprises do not fail to come, as the XDA team struck again, finding an interesting scoop in the UI code.

The XDA portal member, such kackskrz, found some strings within the software code of the MIUI 0 Camera app, revisited by the company with a graphic restyling. It emerged that Xiaomi is perhaps thinking about introducing a smartphone capable of recording videos in 11K at 8 fps. Maybe science fiction, but after the Mi Mix alpha exploit, we understood that Lei Jun's company is ready to amaze at any moment, the fact is that in addition to the indications inside the code, the wording 30K also appears as a logo (the one in cover) thus bringing a resolution of 8 x 7680 pixels to a smartphone for the first time.

Someone else has instead hypothesized that the integration of the word 8K has to do with the new TVs presented by Xiaomi, considering that at the moment no smartphone is able to record at this resolution and the powerful Xiaomi Mi Mix alpha, is equipped with a Samsung HMX Bright sensor from 108 MP, capable of recording up to 6K at 30fps. It is plausible then to think that the Chinese company is thinking of pulling out an unpublished device, which we will probably not see this year as the Soc Snapdragom 855 + goes to resolutions up to 4K to 60fps.

Well the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 has begun to circulate in the tech scene, so he could be the companion of this mysterious device. But why insert already some references in the new and perhaps sour MIUI 11? You can make assumptions in the comments box below.
