One of the greatest sufferings for a telephony enthusiast is to see their smartphone gradually become more and more obsolete due to the lack of updates. We often forget, but the development of updates and the creation of a new interface by a brand is synonymous with respect for the consumer, especially if the revamp is received by a model that is not exactly new. Xiaomi has always stood out for the large number of resources invested to improve the MIUI interface and is also one of the fastest brands when it comes to updates to the latest version of Android. The efforts of the Chinese company, however, are not focused only on the most recent smartphones, but also on older models, unlike many competitors.
The latest addition in the list of devices that will benefit from an update to Android 7 is Mi 4C. In fact, it seems that the update to Android Nougat is ready, according to what was leaked by the well-known portal Geekbench. The score clearly shows that the device in question has not aged badly: other low-end smartphones released in the same period (i.e. more than a year and a half ago) would not be able to obtain the same performance with the seventh version of the OS on board. Google and would be subject to annoying lag and slowdowns. Further proof of the quality of Xiaomi products.
