Design – How is it done?
Let's start with the packaging, which despite the low price, provides a good endowment. In addition to the robot we find:

One aspect that distinguishes the LEFANT M1 is the design particularly compact thanks to the diameter of 32 centimeters and a thickness of only 9,4 centimeters, which allows it to reach under furniture usually inaccessible for other robots.
On the back there is the removable tank which can contain up to 520 ml of dirt, a good capacity compared to the competition. The water tank is from 160ml, not particularly large but as we will see the washing is not a feature that stands out in this product.
If the dust container is very large, the same cannot be said of that of water. The robot is in fact equipped with a rear hook for a washable cloth, in order to guarantee an additional level of cleanliness, thanks to the damp cloth.
In the upper part, in addition to the 3 control buttons, there is a turret LiDAR for laser navigation. A fundamental aspect for high-level navigation that we rarely find on products in this price range and allows for more precise mapping, optimized navigation and better obstacle recognition.
Finally, in the lower part we find, as usual, the hybrid roller (silicone + brushes) and two rotating brushes. There is no shortage of anti-fall sensors to avoid falling on the stairs.
Performance – How does it clean?
The power of maximum suction is 4.000 Pa, a fairly high value, almost impossible to find on this range of products. There are three settings to choose from. The intermediate one is however more than sufficient for a thorough cleaning of the house, perhaps repeated not too infrequently, also guaranteeing good acoustic comfort.
On hard surfaces it performs like a top-of-the-line robots, collecting all types of dry dirt without leaving residues. This is also thanks to the roller which works very well in conjunction with the 2 rotating side brushes.
On rugs and carpets the great power available is useful because on these surfaces it is generally difficult to remove the dirt that lurks between the bristles. The LEFANT M1 pleasantly surprised me even in this content by providing good results.
The LEFANT M1 is also equipped with the "floor washing” although quite basic since it works with a static cloth that is dragged along while vacuuming.
We can choose between three humidity levels that can be set via the application. The result is not that of a real wash because there is no friction or thrust on the floor, but it is useful for freshening up surfaces and you get a better result on completely smooth floors.
La battery life of the LEFANT M1 is very good, 4000mAh which allow it to work for around 150 minutes or 200mXNUMX on a single charge. If the battery runs out, the robot automatically returns to the charging base to resume cleaning where it left off.
Use and Smartphone Application
First, the LEFANT M1 is very easy to use. Thanks to its simple and intuitive controls, it is possible to start suction in a few seconds but to take advantage of all the functions it is necessary to use the smartphone application available yes for Android is Apple iOS.
The application pleasantly surprised me that its simplicity and reliability. Net of some incorrect translations, which however are also present on others famous brands of robots, everything works very well and you can access all options easily.

The application is in Italian but it is not possible to change the language for the robot's voice which will only be in English.
