Lenovo Legion Halo caught on Geekbench: new gaming phone coming with Snapdragon 8+ Gen1

The Chinese brand Lenovo is apparently working on a new Legion smartphone with the code name "Halo". Leaks revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset and will have a less aggressive design than the Legion Y90. We also know, that the Legion Halo has model number L71091.

Well today this device appeared on Geekbench, which revealed its processor, RAM and operating system to us.

Notably, the Geekbench page reveals that the Lenovo Legion Halo will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. The page does not directly mention the name of the SoC. But the CPU and GPU details that were found in the listing confirm that it has the SD8 + G1 chip.

Furthermore, we see that the smartphone is equipped with an octa-core chip, which includes four cores at 2,02 GHz, three cores at 2,75 GHz and one core clocked at 3,19 GHz. The CPU also includes the Adreno GPU. 730. Also on Geekbench we read that the device has 8 GB of RAM and Android 12 operating system. It achieved 1299 in the single-core test and 3953 in the multi-core test respectively.

Otherwise, previous leaks have revealed that the Legion Halo will have a 6,67-inch FHD + P-OLED display with support for a 144 Hz refresh rate.
