POCO F1 and F2 Pro: Control Center melee bug and icons on the home page

When it comes to low-cost smartphones, you don't just think about the sub brand Redmi but also to POCO, a company that has decided to found its fortune above all in India. Although the base is here, European users have also been able to appreciate the basic smartphones they are powered by Xiaomi software. All that glitters is not gold though: it seems that in the last few days many users are experiencing a annoying bug that sees the home page as the protagonist. In particular we find the Control Center mixed with icons.

An annoying bug on POCO F1 and F2 Pro makes it impossible, for a few seconds, to use the home page: icons and Control Center get confused

We found, surprisingly, this report on reddit and we were amazed at the amount of users who encountered the same problem. Currently it is not clear whether it is a launcher problem or a system bugbut what is sure is the discomfort it is creating. What happen? In practice, while using the smartphone updated tolatest version of MIUI 12 Global enviroment they come to overlap the icons of the home page with those of the Control Center. The effect is a chaotic home page filled with random images.

POCO F1 and F2 Pro: Control Center melee bug and icons on the home page

At the moment the reports concern the devices POCO F1 (mostly) and only a few F2 Pro. Some attribute this problem to a excessive number of icons on the home page, mostly not organized into folders. Others claim that the bug was fixed in the latest build (this is the V12.0.2.0.QEJMIXM) and therefore something does not add up. If you also have this problem then you should report it via the "Feedback" app, perhaps even providing some screenshots. We do not know if the developer team is aware of this issue: if so, they would find out through reports.

Let us know if you also have the same problem!

It just rarely happens that the blur effect does not appear in the control center and this happens, nothing serious. Just swipe again and it all works out.
