After several weeks of rumor and leak, the long awaited Poco F2 Pro has finally become official today. The smartphone arrives almost two years after the first one Poco F1 presented way back in August 2018. Unlike the Poco F1 however, the successor is not a totally new device, but the global version of a smartphone we already know: the Redmi K30 Pro; let's go find out more!
POCO F2 Pro is official: The return of the killer flagship!
As always we start with the display, the Poco F2 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch diagonal AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung and with a feature for automatic 360-degree brightness adjustment. The display also seems the same that we find on the Xiaomi flagship, the Mi 10, in particular we have a general brightness of 800 nit with a peak of 1200 nit. We have a high contrast at 5000000: 1, support for HDR10 + content and TÜV Rheinland certification to lighten the load on the eyes.
As for the photographic sector, the smartphone adopts a circular module with four cameras inside. These include a 64MP main camera, Sony IMX686 sensor, focal aperture of f / 1.89 and 1.6um pixels; then we have a 5MP telemacro camera with 2x zoom, a depth of field sensor; finally there is a 13MP ultra wide angle camera with a 123 degree field of view. For selfies, we find instead a 20MP front camera hidden inside a pop-up mechanism with side LED lights that can change color according to your tastes.
Turning to the internal hardware, the Poco F2 Pro arrives with the modern and performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, which brings a 20% increase in performance compared to the previous generation. The processor is then supported by up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, to transmit data at a speed of 44GB per second, and internal UFS 3.1 memory for a maximum write power of up to 44GB per second. We also specify that depending on the amount of RAM, we have both LPDDR4x RAM in the 6GB option, while the variant with 8GB of RAM uses LPDDR5 RAM.

The smartphone also supports dual mode 5G technology, so for both NSA and SA networks, it has a 360 degree surround antenna to improve signal capture and supports the WiFi 6 protocol to connect at maximum speed even in the home, let's talk about a speed equal to 9,6 Gbps, almost three times higher than that of WiFi 5.
As for autonomy, the Poco F2 Pro adopts a battery with a capacity of 4700mAh. While for rapid charging we reach a maximum power of 30W which allows you to recharge the device from 0 to 100% in just 63 minutes.
Among the other specifications on the new F2 Pro we find Bluetooth version 5.1, dual-frequency GPS with the addition of a barometer for more precise navigation, multifunctional NFC, 3.5mm audio jack and infrared ray emitter to control all those non-smart products around the house (TV, air conditioning etc ..). Finally, the device is available in different colors and bright finishes including Neon Blue, Electric Purple, Cyber Gray, Phantom White, with an anti-reflective satin finish in the Electric Purple and Cyber Gray variants.
For prices, the Poco F2 Pro will be sold in Europe (and therefore Italy) with a starting price of 499 euros for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, while if you want 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory you will have to pay 599 euros. Prices, sales channels and availability for Italy will be communicated simultaneously with the arrival of the product on the market.
