POCO M3: Confirmed design and specifications of the next economic mid-range

After appearing online for the first time a couple of days ago, the design and some of the main specs of the next POCO M3 have just been confirmed by the official account of the Xiaomi sub brand.

POCO M3: Confirmed design and specifications of the next economic mid-range

As we can see in the video above, the smartphone is revealed in a new teaser that shows us the final look. The design with the rear cameras module inside an area with a large reflective finish and with the writing is therefore confirmed POCO clearly visible on the right. Although the module is one of the largest, the brand has still opted for "only" three cameras. A sensible choice in our opinion if you try to keep the price low and at the same time avoid adding cameras that are not too performing, not to mention useless.

As for the specifications, however, several previous leaks have suggested that the POCO M3 will be a mid-range. Today the brand confirmed it by revealing that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 as a processor, we will then find a huge 6000mAh battery to power everything and a 6.53-inch screen most likely of the LCD type, with Full HD + resolution and refresh. rate of 90Hz.

From the point of view of photography, at the time of the official we only have the number of megapixels of the main sensor: 48MP. The complete data on the photographic sector we will almost certainly discover them at the presentation scheduled for November 24 at 20:00 GMT + 8.

The rest of the unconfirmed specs should include a side fingerprint sensor, 4/6/8 GB of RAM, 64/128/256 GB of expandable storage with microSD up to 512 GB, 4G dual SIM support, Bluetooth, infrared rays, 3.5mm audio jack, 22,5W fast charging and Android 10 operating system with MIUI 12. Unfortunately, the NFC module for electronic payments and more does not seem to be present.
