Not so long ago we had mentioned the fact that our beloved Xiaomi intends to land in the world of mobile gaming with the production of a smartphone dedicated to it and produced under the Black Shark brand, able to compete with the current Razer Phone. The project will be curated by the company Nanchang Black Shark Technology Co., Ltd., branch of Lei Jun's OEM which in September 2017 announced that Sun Changxu, a Black Shark executive, joined the board as a partner in the investment department of the Chinese technology giant.
The Black Shark project seems to take more and more shape since in the AnTuTu benchmark database the first information regarding the smartphone-game appeared among which we find the adoption of a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, Adreno GPU 630, Well 8 GB of RAM memory and storage from 32 GB (probably expandable) with resolution display from 2160 x 1080 Full HD + pixels in 18 format: 9 and 8.0.0 Oreo-based Android operating system.
BLACK SHARK GETS A RECORD SCORE ON THE ANTUTU PLATFORM, A REFERENCE POINT IN THE SMARTPHONE SECTOR
Since the Black Shark will be a smartphone dedicated to video games, at present it is difficult to expect more from the hardware sector and its performance, in compliance with the 2018 standards. The doubt remains at the software level, assuming a highly personalized version dedicated to mobile gaming, but also in terms of design something highly innovative is expected how this sector imposes.
The Black Shark smartphone seems to have totaled one impressive benchmark score of 270680 points whereas the future Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus has been awarded 265267 points. While from the image posted for the first time on the social Weibo the main features seem to be clear, it remains a mystery if there will be customizations such as a dedicated internal cooling or overclocking related to graphics in order to mark a clear distinction with the most aggressive competitors. Guys I do not know about you but it's better to start saving while waiting for the official presentation of the Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone.
