Logitech announced today GCloud, its first portable console focused on cloud gaming. The device began to appear in mid-August but the Swedish manufacturer has finally put an end to the mystery to reveal the device under the Logitech G brand in partnership with Tencent GAMES. The device offers access to several cloud game libraries, including Xbox CloudGaming e Nvidia GeForce NOW. Logitech G Cloud equips a 7 ″ IPS display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate and 450 nits peak brightness.
To ensure an immersive experience, the handheld console offers haptic feedback, gyroscope, and button mapping customization. Logitech promises beyond 12 hours of battery life and highlights the weight of the device of only 463 grams, allowing gamers to play for long periods without interruption.
There is also a set of altoparlanti stereo and echo-canceling microphones for online gaming, although you can also connect headphones via the standard P2 port, Bluetooth 5.1, or USB-C. With the Wi-Fi connection it will not be a problem to update the system or invite friends to play. The console runs on Android thanks to the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G with 618 MHz Adreno 750 GPU. There is therefore a large list of games compatible with Google's operating system that can be downloaded via the Play Store.
Logitech G Cloud Gaming gives you access to beyond 1.400 titles available on Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Google Stadia. There is also the possibility of connect to your Steam account and play via SteamLink. The joystick has an “ABXY” layout that harks back to the Xbox controller, also offering directional and analog buttons, a home screen button and a button with the Logitech logo, the function of which has yet to be specified.

Logitech G Cloud is now available for pre-order on the manufacturer's official website in the United States and Canada. The introductory price is $ 299 but after that it will come to $ 349. High? I don't think so since it's always inferior to Steam Deck.
