Yesterday, the 17 April of the 2019, the Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced the new Honor 20i. Following the presentation, comments by Lu Weibing, Xiaomi Group vice president and general manager of the Redmi brand, could not be missing.
In the first post on the Chinese social media Weibo, Lu Weibing said that "We looked at our friends' new products and I would say that there is no need to speed up the finalization of Redmi's flagship". Then adding that "There are already the little brothers Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro that seem to be enough".
Lu Weibing to the attack, Redmi Note 7 Pro better than the Honor 20i
But it does not end there, Weibing would have added that he thanks Honor for the recognition of the work of the designers of the last Redmi Note 7 Pro, as the design of the new device is practically identical.

Finishing with the publication of an image of the Note 7 Pro with all the specifications and price.
Design aside, this would be the real strength of Redmi Note 7 Pro compared to the Honor 20i. On the Redmi terminal we find in fact a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal memory, rear camera from 48MP Sony IMX586, 4000mAh battery, USB Type-C port and fast charging to 18W.
On the other hand, the Honor 20i equips a Kirin 710 processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory, a 3400mAh battery and the antiquated microUSB port for charging. On the other hand, it has a 32MP front camera and the three rear 24MP + 8MP + 2MP cameras.
The Honor 20i is available in four other versions, but the one just mentioned has the same sales price as the Redmi Note 7 Pro, or 1599 Yuan (210 €).

So, in the end, we have to thank (or blame) Honor for not rushing Xiaomi, who with the Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to have won the jackpot, at least in China.
