Today is the twentieth anniversary of the founding of Meizu and the brand has taken the opportunity to formalize the presentation date of the new Meizu 20 series, or March 30. At the same time, Yang Xueliang, senior vice president of Geely Holding Group (now owners of Meizu) released high-quality photos of the upcoming Meizu 20 Pro in silver color.
Meizu 20 series shown in the first official photos: the specifications are also revealed
Actually these photos don't show us anything new as the device has already been leaked online several times in the previous days.
In addition to the silver color scheme released by Yang Xueliang, Meizu 20 will also launch a gold version. These images were published by the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station who shared the photo of the two devices in the series in silver and gold on Weibo.
Note that the side edges are also gold, so the brand has worked overtime to make the smartphone different from the ordinary. If I may add my personal opinion, these gold edges make the whole back look like it's an added cover. Then it's up to each of us to decide if this is something positive or negative.
As for the specifications of the Meizu 20 series, all devices will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor and will also be equipped with 80W flash charging, as well as a flat-type screen, 50MP camera and we will find a fingerprint sensor of the second generation ultrasound screen.
As for the Pro version, this will see some improvements such as the addition of 50W wireless flash charging, a large 5000mAh battery, E6-type screen with 2K resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and UWB technology.
So from the hardware point of view the Meizu 20 series will have nothing to envy to the other flagships currently on the market. We just have to find out if the price will be competitive or not.
