Meizu 21 Note launched in China: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 starting from only 2599 Yuan (340 euros)
The Meizu 21 Note arrives with a minimalist design, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a stunning OLED panel. All offered at a surprisingly affordable price on the Chinese market. All configurations of the phone boast a whopping 16GB of RAM. The basic version (16GB+256GB) is offered at price of 2599 Yuan (340 euros).
We can confidently say that the 21 Note is a robust flagship device, with impressive technical specifications, even if the camera capabilities may not be excellent. The phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and is offered in two different configurations: 16GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB. Presents LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal memory. The smartphone is not the best of the Meizu 21 series, but it is notable that Meizu offers 16GB of RAM in both configurations. The phone is available in black and white colors, the latter with white bezels.
The Meizu 21 Note sports a 6,78-inch LTPO OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display dynamically adjusts its refresh rate between 1Hz and 144Hz. This screen can reach a maximum local brightness of 5000 nits and 1600 nits in HBM mode. Furthermore, the phone screen supports 2160 Hz PWM modulation.
Despite one thickness of only 8,2mm, the 21 Note comes with a well battery 5500 mAh. The speed of charging is limited to 66W. Meizu's ability to fit such a large battery into a relatively slim device demonstrates their impressive design work. Bear in mind that phones with a battery capacity above 5000mAh often exceed 8,2mm in thickness.
The new Meizu phone, the Meizu 21 Note, comes with a dual camera setup with one 50MP f/1.7 main camera (S5KGN5) has always been 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera (S5K3L6). On the front, there is one 16MP selfie camera, while optical image stabilization (OIS) is only available on the main camera. The phone is capable of recording videos up to 8K resolution and has stereo speakers.
