
Meizu, despite abandoning the smartphone market earlier this year, surprised everyone with the launch of three new devices, the latest of which is the Meizu Blue 20. This budget smartphone comes with a Unisoc T765 chipset (6nm), which offers 5G connectivity and a host of advanced AI features.
Meizu Blue 20 official in China: little power but lots of AI

The price of the Meizu Blue 20 has not yet been revealed, as the phone is currently listed as “coming soon” with a provisional price. It will be available in two configurations: 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal memory and 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal memory.
One of the most interesting features of the chipset is its ability to support 5G connectivity and a wide range of AI features. These include a chatbot and an AI-assisted writing function. Plus, you don't need a camera to take a photo - just ask the AI to generate one. If you take a photo instead, you can use the “uncrop” tool to expand the scene.

Speaking of the camera, Meizu has taken a particular approach. Although one is listed 50MP rear camera has always been front camera from 8MP, reading the notes you discover that these resolutions are obtained via software interpolation from 13MP and 5MP sensors respectively.

The phone is powered by a battery 5010mAh which charges via USB-C, although the charging speed has not been specified. The device is 8,3mm thick and features 2.5D reinforced glass on the front, although Meizu did not mention any specific branding.

The smartphone has a microSD card slot (supports cards up to 2TB) and 3,5mm headphone jack. Additionally, there are stereo speakers. The device will be available in three colors: Obsidian Black, Bright Moon White and Phantom Night Purple. Finally, the operating system of the Blue 20 is the “Flyme AI OS”, which also includes advanced security and privacy features.
At the moment, there is no indication that Meizu will make the Blue 20 available outside of China.
