Meizu's tablet is about to arrive: will he be the "enemy" of Xiaomi Pad 5?

Meizu has not yet proposed his tablets but, as usual for the company, it will arrive a little later than the others. Apparently the Chinese giant intends to launch a tablet that will become the direct competitor of Xiaomi pad 5 and the future OppoPad. The tablet market is not as rosy as the smartphone market, but the pandemic period has seen asurge in sales. With that said, here's what could await us.

Meizu is developing its first tablet. We don't know much about the specs, release date and features. But the launch is scheduled for 2022

Thanks to the team of MEIZU Fans Global who reported the news to us. According to information provided by a well-known Chinese leaker who goes by the name of bald panda, Meizu is working on its first tablet. Details on specs, release date, design and whatnot are not known but we know the device debut this year. The same informant tells us, then revealing that by the end of the month he will get his hands on the device. If what he says is true, he seems to be giving March we could start talking about some more concrete data.

The company is slowly building its ecosystem

In the past, Meizu announced Flyme for Tab optimized for tablet and Flyme for TV optimized for TV. Consequently, an operational "engine" for the tablet should be well under way. Just optimize it and that's it. But what can we expect from the Meizu tablet?

If the company wants to offer a competing device to Xiaomi Pad 5 and the future Oppo Pad, but also vivo Pad, then it will opt for a Snapdragon 870 processor. The screen could then count on one resolution 2.5K and on an update rate a 120Hz. If so, it will be an all-round gaming tablet.

See you next month when we will know more about the Meizu Pad (even if trivial, it could be called that).
