After months and months of talking about it in terms of features, we finally managed to have an official launch date. Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will debut on 11 June next in a live event that will be held by the company on Weibo. The historic company Huami who has worked so hard to help users in medical field and universities regarding the Research, has managed to finish producing the new smartband queen. This will follow the beloved Mi Band 4 and add some very interesting to the existing features.

In a post on the Chinese social network Weibo, the official account of Xiaomi Smartbands or the one that deals with the Mi Bands, has published a long photograph to predict what Chinese users will expect during theevent called 618. For the uninitiated, June 18 (hence 618) is the so-called Mid-year shopping festival, one of the many opportunities for e-commerce to reach sales records. And it is on this day that the Mi Band 5 will enter the Chinese market. But his presentation will happen a week before, the11nd June.
So in summary, June 11 will be presented while the June 18 will be possible to start buying it in China. This means that within a month from the 18th, through the channels with which we usually advertise the products, it will be possible to buy it. Clearly i first lots will be those of the Chinese version but we are sure that the global version will not be long out. But what are the Features what will we find and know about so far?

- : 1.2 ″ size. However, it seems that the design of the smartband continues to be the same as that of the previous Mi Band 4 and therefore the screen will not be "full display" but rather rectangular, albeit larger;

- digital assistant: it will be possible to call the Amazon Alexa digital assistant for the main functions;
- Sp02: with the new queen of smartbands it will be possible to control the oxygen saturation in the blood, a feature never integrated on Xiaomi products until now; it will also be possible to control the menstrual cycle and that of ovulation;
- mode PAI: we already talked about it some time ago;
- global clocks: through the Mi Fit app it will be possible to add multiple times corresponding to different meridians;
- DND: the "Do not disturb" mode is already present on the Mi Band 4 but will be customizable based on multiple periods of time;
- camera: it will be possible to control the shutter of our smartphone without installing mods or third party applications.
