In these days, although it is not really a period of celebration, Xiaomi has nevertheless continued its annual Mi Fan Festival, an event in which a series of products dedicated to fans of the Asian brand are offered. During this initiative, we had been promised that there would be so many new products to act as a scenario for event scenes and so after seeing a smartwatch dedicated to children, a smartband and new TWS earphones, it is also the desire of two new smart TV, the Mi Full Screen TV Pro with 75-inch display and the Mi TV 4A with 60-inch panel.
Mi Fan Festival 2020: Xiaomi presents two new smart Mi TVs, with 60 and 75-inch screens
Let's start with the largest and most performing model of the pair of smart TVs presented today by Xiaomi, namely the Mi Full Screen TV Pro, a high-end model with a 75-inch panel with UHD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) with a viewing angle of 178 degrees and support to the HDR10 standard. As the name suggests, we are faced with a TV with almost non-existent frames on the 4 sides so as to bring the screen-to-body ratio to 97%, delimited by an aluminum frame.
Everything is moved by an Amlogic T972 processor with a 12 nm production process, a Cortex-A55 quad-core clocked at 1,9 GHz, flanked by a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The Mi Full Screen TV Pro uses PatchWall, the proprietary interface that operates on Android. Rich connectivity that consists of a 802.11 ac dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 HDMI connectors (1 ARC), 2 USB, S / PDIF and Ethernet port, while the audio is entrusted to 2 8 watt stereo speakers and DTS support Audio and Dolby Audio. The 75-inch variant will be purchasable in China starting from April 9 at the price of 5999 yuan, or about 765 euros at the current exchange rate.
Price and measures much more contained for the new 4-inch Xiaomi Mi TV 60A, but without giving up excellent technical characteristics, starting right from the panel, able to offer a UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and a viewing angle of 178 degrees . Also in this case the frames are reduced, even if they do not reach the extremes of the model we have just talked about.
In terms of hardware specifications instead we have an Amlogic CPU, quad-core clocked at 1,5 GHz and Cortex-A53 structure which is flanked by a Mali-450 MP3 GPU, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, which are the background to the Patchwall system. In terms of connectivity, there is a dual band WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 HDMI (1 ARC), 2 USB, S / PDIF and Ethernet. Again we find 2 8-watt stereo speakers and support for DTS Audio Dolby Audio.
Xiaomi Mi 4-inch 60A TV will be on sale in China for 1999 yuan (about 255 euros) and for now it will not leave the Chinese borders where it will begin to be marketed on April 9. We hope to see them arrive in our market soon, given the recent landing of the Mi TV 4S, presented during the streaming event of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
