MIUI 10 Beta: latest news and updates for Redmi K20 / K20 Pro

As you well know, the Global Beta of the MIUI ROMs have come to an end, but the tests to improve their interface have not ended. In fact, the China Beta version continues to exist, from which MIUI alternative releases, such as xiaomi.eu or miui.it, will continue to tap into proposing the anticipations that we will find on both stable versions of MIUI, both China and Global.

Lately we have seen the introduction of Air Gesture, which will probably improve on the new MIUI 11, but this time it is the Settings interface, which in the MIUI 10 China Beta 9.7.1 has many differences compared to the standard we are used to change. Now we will recommend some related settings, as if they were fast pulses; in short, a way to help users discover more options. As you can see from the images also the password manager reports some news, enriching itself with the automatic completion of the same.

MIUI 10 Beta: latest news and updates for Redmi K20 / K20 Pro

And another interesting novelty for the MIUI, even if at the moment it only involves the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro devices, is the introduction of the new Sky Filter function, seen in action on the new Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e. Sky Filter allows you to change the tones of the sky through preset filters. In short, not only the photographic sector of Xiaomi devices is making enormous progress, but even on the software side, the improvements are not slow in coming.

In any case, the Sky Filter function for the time being will only reach the top two Redmi brands, something confirmed by the CEO of Redmi, Lu Weibing, who also published a series of shots obtained with the new software functionality.

Exploiting the new function in MIUI 10 is very easy, as you will only need to open the Image Gallery and choose a photo. The new feature together with other editor tools will be available to the user allowing to obtain a unique and above all impressive photo. Since the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro devices represent the European alias of Xiaomi Mi 9T and the next Mi 9T Pro, we expect a future upgrade also for these terminals but especially for Mi 9.
