MIUI 10 Global Stable arrives on Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus, Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A

Upgrading to the new MIUI interface does not change the version of Android, therefore on Mi 5S Plus will remain the current Android Nougat although it should be noted that in the developer version, the same ROM boasts Android 8.1 Oreo and therefore it is plausible to think that a future update will affect Mi 5S Plus. While for Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A is still Android Nougat 7.1.2 to feed the whole, and perhaps such will remain. Finally on Redmi 4 the security patches are "updated" to those of October while for the small Redmi 4A the same remain in place in July.

As already anticipated, the update will be notified via OTA, gradually or if you do not want to wait you can proceed with the download of the ZIP file of the OTA update and install it manually by going to the menu Settings> About phone> System updates> Menu (3 dots at the top right)> Choose the update package. Just select the file you just downloaded to proceed with the flash of the MIUI 10 Global Stable for your device without any data being deleted.

We recommend it, but it is not essential, always a data backup, if possible, and a clean flash at every update of this type, while the most anticipated novelties concern theAI Preloading, feature that uses artificial intelligence to speed up the opening of the most used apps. Furthermore the graphical interface has been completely redesigned, making the UI very similar to what Android 9 offers, such as the new volume slider. Have you already updated?
