After having it premature about a week ago, Xiaomi has now released the new MIUI 12 based on Android 11 Beta 1. The ROM will be available for the Global versions of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. While for the POCO F2 Pro, which was included in the teaser, no update has been announced and we will have to wait a few more days.

Clearly, being a very premature version of Android 11, this is not recommended for all users. In any case, it is recommended to backup all data before starting the flashing procedure through fastboot.

As for the news that we will find with the new ROM, as we learned in this article, MIUI 12 based on Android 11 will adopt:
- Best keyboard tips: Xiaomi has improved the recommended words when writing thanks to artificial intelligence and machine learning. In fact, the textual suggestions on Gboard will be more precise and more targeted, the same will be true for emoticons;
- Multimedia control center: With the MIUI 12 there will be a "control center" when we lower the curtain. Android 11 allows us to control multimedia files (photos and videos) directly from there.
- Multifunctional power button: With the latest version of the operating system it will be possible to open a page dedicated to the cards registered on Google Pay, the one dedicated to airline tickets or, alternatively, a card with all the devices of home automation. Many more features may be added in the future.
- Drop-down menu: With MIUI 12 based on Android 11, the bubble notifications will be used more massively and the possibility will also be given to choose the priority notifications in order to make them appear on Always on Display.
