Through an update of the function Always on Display (AOD) in the Chinese version of MIUI, the brand introduced four new screens. Of course these can only be applied to the devices with AMOLED type displays and visible only when the screen is off when we have the device locked. But why do we say they are only for real Mi Fans? Because they showcase number 12 of the new interface MIUI 12.5.
The four new Always on Display are currently downloadable only on the Chinese version of the ROM. When the MIUI 12.5 will also arrive on smartphones with global ROMs, we will be able to use them too. As we can see, through Settings e Display options, we can choose four different designs: classic, blue, red and green. The names of the AODs make it clear how the brand wanted to dedicate a small space of personalization to the skin, even for give that little credit to the developers who work daily to bring customization and stability.
