MIUI +
We have talked poco of this functionality as they do not have a device with China Beta ROM. It will not be available immediately as it must be interfaced with the Global ROM but we already know how it will work. Basically it is a rudimentary desktop mode that allows you to take advantage of a desktop mirroring service. In a very similar way to your Phone diWindows, it will be possible to receive notifications directly on the PC, to transfer screenshots in a very simple way, to use some applications directly from the monitor. We know the service will be also available for iOS, even if not immediately. As for smartphones, those of the Mi 10 family, Mi 9 and Redmi of the K30 and K20 series; as for PCs, they are compatible Mi Notebook Pro 15 Enhanced Edition, Mi Notebook Pro 15.6 ″ 2020, Redmi G Notebook, RedmiBook 16, RedmiBook 14 II, RedmiBook Air 13.

Personalization of the smartphone
MIUI 12.5 takes the customization of the previous version as a legacy. We know how the skin of Xiaomi is very much based on imaging and indeed, in a completely native way (without resorting to external apk) we will be able to take advantage of new Super Wallpaper such as Geometry and Snow Mountain rather than new Always on Display and volume panel.
Energy optimization of MIUI 12.5
One thing that gets improved annually is the autonomy. This happens because the customization of the operating system manages to "block" those processes that are superfluous at a given moment. Well, this aspect has been further accentuated with the MIUI 12.5. A few numbers: less 20% of RAM used for classical scenarios; less 32% of RAM used by system apps less 17% of energy used overall.
The heart of the interface has been streamlined: the system applications are significantly lower to those we found before, thus leaving our devices much lighter. We talk about settings, camera, phone, messages, clock, gallery, browser, notes. Beyond that, system applications we deem superfluous will be uninstallable.
Privacy
This is something the company has been focusing on for more than two years. Although there have been news organizations that have had to complain about the privacy issue, Xiaomi states that the scope of user data protection is ABSOLUTE. An example of the improvements we will see is Fuzzy Fusion, that is, whenever certain applications require access to our location, we may create a fictitious location that will be displayed as a larger dot instead of a dot.
Here the brand has decided to implement a function blank pass: practically MIUI 12, upon acceptance of the request for access to contacts and telephone calls, will send dummy, empty data to the system. This is another step towards greater protection of sensitive data.
