We say it often and we will continue to say it: the MIUI 12 is the most complete interface of all. With this, however, and we emphasize it, we do not mean that it is the best ever. Rather, the problems of Xiaomi's custom interface are there for all to see. If we really have to be honest, in terms of stability there OXYGEN di OnePlus it is the best but to be honest the latest version with Android 11 begins to have some whims. But surely you are wondering: what are we referring to in the article? To the Battery drain which produces a lot of negative feedback on a daily basis.
MIUI 12 is complete, but not stable: battery drain problems are unbearable and the company is losing ground
Following the article by the colleagues of PiunikaWeb always inherent to the battery drain problem on MIUI 12, we decided to go in search of other testimonials than those of Twitter. Very often in fact, on this social network, many complain within conversations that have nothing to do with the topic of the post. Consequently, there is no tangible data to calculate (roughly) how many users have a particular problem. So we got on Reddit and the amount of negative feedbacks concerning MIUI 12 and the problem of Battery drain it's hallucinating. We have collected some testimonies.
The problems are as varied as the patterns plagued by the problem. Let's go from Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite a Redmi Note 8, from Xiaomi Mi 9T to the flagship Xiaomi Mi 10. Some users claim that there are ways to fix but unfortunately they are not always valid:
- remove bloatware (pre-installed apps that you don't use;
- do a hard reset after the update (always recommended);
- disable MIUI optimization;
- disable auto adjust contrast in settings;
- disable Super Wallpapers and switch to static ones;
These are just some of the ways that can be used to get around the problem. However, as also stated by the moderators of the Mi Community, the problem is much broader and the skin developers are working to fix the problem.

I am the owner of xiaomi redmi note 7 and after updating to the miui 12 global version I had and am having many problems, the phone at times slows down in an unjustified way, some times during the day it freezes and forces me to restart it. previous version did not occur. Can anyone give me a tip to solve them? Is it possible to go back to the previous version?
Thanks so much
I'm Cesare and after installing the 12 on my redmi note 7 the camera freezes at the beginning and for the shots it also takes a few seconds.
Hi Flavio, through “Downmi” it is possible to go back but we do not recommend it at the moment. Changing from 12 to 11 could cause other problems. Personally I recommend that you wait for future updates that will fix the problems.
As I say in the article, the problems of MIUI 12 are many, too many ... but as users we cannot do anything about it.
