MIUI 12 has finally arrived among us, although no stable version has yet been released, but many have already been able to benefit from the new features of the Xiaomi system interface thanks to the Beta Closed ROM flash or through the work carried out by the xiaomi.eu development team. Among the major changes of MIUI 12 and the new features we also find the renewed application of the camera, which in addition to offering a very high level of customization also adds new gestures that greatly facilitate its use.
The new camera app offers a series of options and modes that are generally managed in the background by the app itself, allowing us to obtain noteworthy shots by often taking advantage of the automatic mode. But if we wanted to access more professional settings and features we would have to navigate through the menus, often losing the route we were directed to, but in MIUI 12 it will now be possible to access them with a simple gesture directly from the main window of the app.
As we can see in the video, the MIUI 12 camera application will allow us to choose between two practical gestures to show the settings and shooting modes. In this way, with a simple movement we could quickly and easily access the options offered.
MIUI 12: new Camera options interface and new Volume sliders
Another interesting feature offered in MIUI 12, but currently only available on terminals such as Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, is that of multimedia volume management. We could therefore manage the volume on separate channels of two applications in parallel, such as the Spotify app and the Music app. Furthermore, judging the images above it will be possible to enrich the multimedia experience with bright effects that will be offered in Lock Screen mode.
This functionality undoubtedly opens the way to various uses, making the graphic experience offered by MIUI 12 even more pleasant. And are you already trying it?
