MIUI 13 will bring several new features inside the Xiaomi Android custom skin. We learned, for example, of the reception of one new game mode which will allow games to be opened in a smaller window. Then there will be Memory Fusion Technology, which is the technology that will allow you to expand the RAM as it already does Oppo. And finally, there will come a new rendering system that is new effects, icons, fonts, animations and backgrounds. But there is also more and this time it concerns the reload animation. MIUI 13 will add in the charging animation the maximum power reached by the charger at a given moment. Very useful as a check to see if the mechanism is faulty!
This morning we realized that one has arrived on Xiaomi Mi 10 completely new functionality and unpublished for MIUI. In reality it is certainly a bug as, as we will see, a charging power not corresponding to the maximum supported is reported. For this reason we thought that it will actually be integrated, if not immediately, on the MIUI 13.
This is a feature that may not be of much interest to many users but can actually be very useful when it comes to check the health of the battery and charger. Most likely the MIUI 13 will tell us in real time the maximum power with which our Xiaomi smartphone is charging. In the images below we see it better.
At the beginning, the minimum power is shown, that is 0W Subsequently, the cycle will reach the maximum power of 60W
As soon as the recharge starts working (note, only the wired one appears to have this function at the moment) we will see below the remaining recharge quantity a new indicator. This will show a how much power the charger is charging our Xiaomi or Redmi smartphone. As we know, charging a smartphone is never "at the maximum". The charger allows the battery to charge "in peaks".
If a smartphone like Xiaomi Mi 10 recharges at a maximum of 67W, it does not mean that from start to finish it will charge at 67W: there will be times when it will charge, perhaps, at 10W, moments when it will charge at 30W and some moments when will touch the maximum peak of 67W.
