Hello MIUIers of Italy and welcome to the complete changelog for the new version of the China Developer branch that reaches the MIUI 7.6.22 numbering and I remember it being published weekly every Thursday night.
This week's update is particularly small and will only be remembered for the removal of the "historic" icon Update that has accompanied us in all these years in the evolution of MIUI. On the other hand comes a new "My device" screen that brings together more pleasantly the information of our device and that allows the verification of any updates.
Also note the resolution of the annoying bug that was flashing the display with some applications and for which many people wrote about it worried.
- The update for the Redmi 4X is suspended for testing at the MIUI based on Android 7.0
- A last minute bug that shows a random number in the Camera app will be fixed in the next release.
- Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus have completed the Closed Beta phase and will see the release of the Open Beta (Developer) at the end of this week. China Developers will receive the update automatically via OTA.
MIUI 8 China Developer ROM 7.6.22 Highlight
The Update icon was one of MIUI's distinctive elements by managing ROM updates. After extensive discussions and evaluations we decided to remove it to simplify the layout.
From today's BETA you can check upgrades with these two modes:
Automatic update
Enabling auto-update in settings will receive the classic up-to-date notification. The system will download (when a Wifi network is present) the update.
Manual Update
In the new voice My device in the settings you will be able to check for new updates.

The Redmi 4 Prime will certainly receive MIUI9. Regarding the update to Nougat, there is no official info but we can be optimistic since it is even being tested on 4X
