Today, 27 December, Xiaomi officially released the MIUI 9 update in a stable version for the third batch of missing smartphones. The devices include Xiaomi Mi 3, Mi Note 2, Redmi Note 3 and other 9 models bringing to 27 the smartphones supported by the company from biggest update in the company's history.
The path to get to the new MIUI 9 was in a certain sense quite articulated, in fact starting from the 26 last July we proceeded to release the first update for the developer versions and then get to the latest stable version of the interface owner of the Chinese company covering almost all Xiaomi models released to date 2014.
The ways to update at MIUI 9 are essentially two, that is through OTA for which it is necessary to wait for the official notification or accessing through the MIUI forum for download the update compatible with your model manually.
Also for this Friday, MIUI will be introduced in the MIUI "full screen gesture" function, which as the name suggests is compatible with full screen devices such as Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus.
Particularly the new function will replace the virtual keys on the screen, such as Home, Back and Menu acting through 3 specific gesture that will recall the commands. In practice, to call up the Home key it will be necessary to swipe from the bottom edge of the screen upwards, for Multitasking it will be necessary to swipe from the bottom to the top by stopping the finger for a few moments on the screen and finally the Back button can be recalled by executing a swipe from the left or right edge.
In short, the MIUI 9 is increasingly enriching its functionality and for those who were not yet in love with this interface, will have to change his mind.
Mi Note (the first) still without MIUI 9 Stable (neither china nor global)… yet in the DEV ram (abandoned in November) it arrived… uff.
Someone explain to me why when I am with Miui often the whatsapp messages I send are NOT displayed (in the group)? Delivered to everyone, but viewed by none. I have already seen this several times.
on Redmi Note 3 still nothing ...
