despite the problems that many have experienced after the recent update MIUI 12.5, the Android-based system interface developed by Xiaomi, remains the best you can find in the green robot landscape. The reason is soon said, considering the numerous customization functions made available, as well as continuous developments for the improvement of stability and fluidity in general, also appreciable on entry level terminals.
To say it is not us xiaomists, but an important recognition by the Red Dot Awards which in its 2021 edition awarded the MIUI of Xiaomi, just as one of the best, thus adding one more piece to the timely and constant growth of the Asian brand, which is now number one worldwide, surpassing giants like Samsung.
The MIUI of XIaomi is awarded as the best in the world in terms of design
For the uninitiated, the Red Dot award is recognized worldwide as one of the most important in the field of product design, both professional and domestic. Hundreds of companies compete every year, but only those that offer the best quality and innovation win. It is therefore not difficult to come across brands such as Adidas, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz but also Nokia and Apple. Ok but why MIUI was judged so positively by Red Dot Design:
- Haptic Feedback A customizable, gesture-compatible response system that takes your phone's vibration to a new level. This feature allowed Xiaomi to win a Red Dot award in the "Interface and User Experience" category.
- Natural Sound Museum the catalog of sounds inspired by nature for MIUI notifications and alarms. It was awarded by Red Dot in the categories "Sound design" and "Interface and user experience".
Both are features released with MIUI 12.5, but they are not available for almost everyone, in fact Haptic Feedback is only compatible with high-end Xiaomi phones while Natural Sound Museum is only available in China.
To drink there will be the presentation of MIUI 13, a version that will bring a list of advantageous functions that we will soon learn about, although by reading a few lines above you will have realized that unfortunately the good things are exiled to the Chinese gill of the ROM. But we are confident in a positive change of course towards our market, which for at least a couple of years has made Xiaomi reach its goal and the result of becoming the number 1 in Italy and in the world.
