MIUI launcher: it will be possible to organize it in categories and customize it

Let's talk about theapp drawer on the MIUI launcher, or that system that allows ororganize the home of your device in a more or less schematic way. Some do not want it while others fail to do without it because it allows you to organize all the applications of the device according to your needs. Long ago we saw how POCOPHONE has added its own definition POCO launcher on the device onino, but now it's up to Xiaomi is introducing a feature through which we could customize the MIUI launcher as desired that will come soon. To let us know are the developers of XDA.

MIUI launcher: it will be possible to organize it in categories and customize it

The functionality we are talking about has been identified in one alpha version of MIUI launcher. Thanks to this feature we will be able to organize all the apps in different categories inside the app drawer, allowing you to quickly find any application by simply tapping on the category.

The function is available in the settings of MIUI launcher in the section "App drawer" (as you see in the second photograph) and, once activated, allows automatically classify all the apps. It is important to note that you will also have the ability to remove or add new categories from the same menu so you can easily delete all the unnecessary categories that are not used or add those that make us more comfortable.

As we told you a few days ago, Xiaomi confirmed that l'app drawer will make its way and land on the MIUI 11 with the next updates, even if there is no news from the company about the release of this new feature that allows you to divide into categories. It is plausible that the first release of this feature will not cover everything we have told you so far and will therefore be implemented in the future. But as XDA staff points out, it would be absurd to delay the arrival of this convenient feature. In any case, for us poor western users, we will still have to wait because Chinese users will be the first to have it officially.

But if you don't want to wait, just install this alpha.
