The ranking of the most powerful smartphones of the last month (AnTuTu) has been released

The Android smartphone market was relatively quiet in August, with few new performance-focused releases. This made the August ranking of the most powerful Android smartphones less “smoky” than it used to be. However, despite the stability of the products, the ranking is not static and there are still some highlights to note.

The ranking of the most powerful smartphones of the last month (AnTuTu) has been released

We remind you that to ensure the rationality and fairness of the ranking, AnTuTu uses some specific criteria:

  1. Average score: AnTuTu ranking score is the average of all model score data in the month, not the highest score. It is normal that your phone's score of the same model may vary by about 100.000 points.
  2. Minimum number of valid scores: Models with less than 1.000 valid scores in the month are not included in the ranking. If a model does not appear in the list, it is probably due to an insufficient number of valid scores.
  3. Maximum configurations: The configurations that appear in the list are those with the highest valid scores for that model. Some maximum configurations may not be shown due to an insufficient number of valid scores.
  4. Influencing factors: Many factors, such as phone temperature, phone usage, and system version, can affect benchmark results.
  5. Data source: The data in the list is from China only and is collected from August 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024.

Second place: realme GT Neo6 SE

In August, the top three spots in the sub-flagship performance rankings remained unchanged from July, with Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 which continues to dominate among sub-flagship phones.

Currently, the sub-flagship products equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen3 processors They have all been virtually released, and performance has become relatively stable.

An interesting change in the August rankings was the move from the Snapdragon 9 Gen7-powered iQOO Z3 to the Dimensity 10-Max-powered OPPO K8000 in tenth place. This shift caused the number of Dimensity-powered models to surpass the number of Snapdragon-powered models in the sub-flagship list, which goes some way to demonstrating MediaTek’s influence in sub-flagship phones.

AnTuTu's Most Powerful Android Smartphones for August 2024 provides an interesting overview of the performance of various models on the market. Despite the relative calm in the release of new models, there is still significant movement in the ranking, with some models standing out for their exceptional performance.
