Il Moto edge 50 is set to make its debut on August 1, marking a major addition to Motorola's smartphone lineup. This new model will be available on Motorola's official website, Flipkart and major retailers in India.

When it comes to specifications, the Moto Edge 50 will have a 6,67-inch curved P-OLED display with a resolution of 1.220 x 2.712 pixels. This 10-bit screen offers 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and can reach a maximum brightness of 1.900 nits. Furthermore, it comes with a built-in fingerprint reader.
Under the hood, the Moto Edge 50 is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. This chipset, already used in the foldable Razr 40, is paired with 256GB of internal storage and a vapor chamber to keep the device cool. Motorola guarantees three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches for this model.
One of the most distinctive features of the Moto Edge 50 is its battery 5.000mAh, which supports the 68W wired fast charging , wireless charging from 15W, an improvement over the Fusion which doesn't support wireless charging.
As for the photographic sector, the Edge 50 is equipped with one Sony Lytia 700C 50MP main camera with a 1/1.56 inch sensor, the same as the Fusion model. However, this model also includes a 10MP telephoto camera with “30x” zoom, presumably 3x optical, and a 13MP ultra wide angle camera with a viewing angle of 120°, also capable of macro shots. There front camera is 32MP.
Motorola has stated that the Moto Edge 50 will be the thinnest phone in the world with MIL-STD-810H certification, although details on the thickness have not yet been revealed. This device has been tested to withstand drops, vibrations, extreme temperatures (both high and low), and salt spray. And then IP68 certified and has a metal frame.
The Edge 50 will be available in three colors: Jungle Green and Pantone Peach Fuzz with vegan leather backing, and Koala Gray with vegan suede backing.
