As revealed by the manufacturer, the Defy 2 was built in collaboration with the British manufacturer Bullitt Group, which developed the two-way satellite communication technology with MediaTek and satellite network infrastructure company Skylo for nearly two years.
The new feature allows the phone to seamlessly switch between cellular, Wi-Fi and satellite connections, and Bullitt's messaging system will turn on satellite communications if the phone is unable to connect via Wi-Fi or cellular.

In terms of specifications, the Motorola Defy 2 is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 930 chip, with a combination of 6 + 128GB storage, a 6,6-inch waterdrop notch screen with Full HD+ resolution, and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In addition, the device adopts 50MP, 8MP and 2MP triple rear cameras, 8MP front selfie lens, built-in 5000mAh battery, supports 15W charging, Mil-Spec Level 810H endurance certification. military and supports IP68, IP69K protection.

In terms of tariffs, Motorola will launch a package (starting at $149 per month) to provide annual subscriptions, and users can send and receive up to 30 two-way messages and SOS assistance.
