By now a classic is the waiting time between the output of a new device Xiaomi and the release of its ROM destined for our continent. You can install this ROM in two different ways:
- Installation with MiFlash;
- Installation from Recovery TWRP.
Installation with MiFlash:
- unlock the bootloader da en.miui.com/unlock;

- unpack the RAR archive MiFlash in a folder on your PC desktop and put your phone in Fastboot mode (you have to crush it off KEY VOLUME DOWN + KEY POWER, as long as the phone does not restart in fastboot - black screen with Xiaomi mascots and blue fastboot writing);
- start MiFlash and select the "flash_all". Keep in mind that this option will erase all the data in your phone, so make a backup then proceed;
- the phone will restart (it will take ten minutes for the first boot) and you will have it on your Mi5 Recovery TWRP e ROM Multilingual with Google services.
TWRP Recovery Installation:
- unlock the bootloader da en.miui.com/unlock;
- download the ROM you want to install from here:

- now you have to extract the contents of 'archive TWRP in a new folder on your desktop and then install Recovery e Boat through commands fastboot;
- restart the phone, connect it to your PC and transfer the ROM you want to install;
- turn off your phone and restart it Recovery TWRP (you have to crush it off KEY VOLUME SU + KEY POWER until the phone starts up Recovery). Now you have to click on "INSTALL"And select the ROM file you have transferred from PC (in the meantime do not touch anything because it will take a couple of minutes). When you end up returning to the home of the Recovery (without restarting the phone - there is the "BACK"And that"HOME") And click on Wipe, Then know more Wipe e SELECT ONLY: dalvik, date e cache. Now let's see how to install Multilingual Rom Rom with Google apps and OTA active updates without unlocking the bootloader. Currently there is no Italian language on this rom, but will be added in the coming weeks.

- If you have any uninstall them earlier versions of MiFlash since we will use a special version that you can find here:

- If red-faced red warning windows appear during installation, and continue the installation. At restart, restart the PC.
- Now connect your Mi5 to your PC and enable the developer settings: go to "setting", Scroll down to"about phone"And click 7 times on"MIUI version".

- Now let's extract the ADB folder from the downloaded .zip archive, open the folder and open one command window (SHIFT BUTTON more RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON) and type (without quotation marks) "adb devices"And we'll give you a call. In all of this, we must let the Mi5 screen turn on without going into standby, as a window will appear where you will have to select "always allow".
- Always in the open command window first type "adb reboot edl"And click submit. The smartphone will restart itself and enter "downloaded mode".
- Let's open now MiFlash on the PC and select "flash all exepted storage", Now you have to click on"refresh"To make the phone recognize. Now let's go on "browse", On the top right, and select the folder where we previously extracted the rom. Well, click on "Flash"To install the Global ROM on our Mi5. Do not touch anything until the flash procedure ends, which will last about ten minutes! The rom flash will end when you see the green progress bar and a "completed installation" message.
- You can unplug the smartphone from the PC and turn it on. The first boot will be a bit long, so be comfortable and wait. Once started you can enjoy your smartphone!
