Charging your smartphone is a common problem for both Android and iOS users, as is the problem relating to the temperatures that are often reached in certain periods of the year, causing our beloved devices to overheat, which sometimes eventually lose power. performance or even crashes (users who use their phones paired with Android Auto or CarPlay know this well).

ALTERNATIVE ON AMAZON
With all this in mind, I came across a car accessory developed by the CABLETIME brand, namely the CE13B model, which specifically allows you to charge your devices wirelessly (via MagSafe technology), but not only that you can simultaneously charge another device, all without losing power on the chosen charging solution, whether MagSafe or cable. I tested the product for a long time and I'll tell you right now that despite the presence of MagSafe technology and therefore specific for Apple devices, if you have an Android smartphone capable of charging wirelessly, with a simple MagSafe ring available online for a few euros, even with these devices you can benefit from what the CABLETIME gadget offers.

In the sales package, we naturally find our gadget, the operating manual in English, the USB-C/USB-C power cable and the adapter for car air vents. Be careful, because not all vents are compatible with the product, as we find a sort of hook that will tighten the plastic flap of the vent. I leave you the image of the compatibility below.

MATERIALS AND DESIGN
Already from the unboxing we could notice how CABLETIME is attentive to every little detail. The entire component is made of plastic, except for the aforementioned hook and some elements, but overall I found an extreme solidity and robustness but above all the MagSafe magnet offers optimal support for the smartphone, even of generous size and weight.

The peculiarity of this product is the integration of a retractable cable on the lower base of the MagSafe support, a cable that integrates a double connector, Lightning or Type-C and this allows you to charge two smartphones at the same time, avoiding arguments with your travel partner about who should charge the smartphone. This cable is well made and is flat, avoiding tangles and being resistant over time. Assembling our CABLETIME car charger is very simple, you just need to insert the special ball-shaped connector inside the ring nut found on the back of the MagSafe, insert everything into the air vent and tighten with the knob. Of course, you can orient the accessory.

Returning to the primary gadget, the part in contact with your smartphone is smooth and does not have elements that can scratch your device. Under the surface there are powerful magnets with MagSafe technology, which will be responsible for conducting the wireless charging. Although there is no cooling fan, even with the infernal temperatures of these days I have not noticed any particular overheating. Of course we can use the smartphone with a case, which is almost mandatory for Android devices: of course the covers must be equipped with a MagSafe ring. However, a reduced thickness of the case is recommended, to make the charging system efficient but at the same time of the magnet.

CHARGING TEST
Charging speed is always a concern for users, both in the car and out. In the case of the CABLETIME gadget, the experience was optimal. During my tests, which took place both with an iPhone 11 Pro with a MagSafe case and with a Motorola Edge 30 Neo with an original cover and a third-party MagSafe ring, the gadget always delivered the energy for charging on the first try. In the case of the Motorola, I was unable to benefit from the maximum power, since this smartphone supports 5W charging, but the fact of being able to use a product created for Apple on an Android device is already a big victory. On the iPhone 11 Pro, it should be noted that it is not designed with native MagSafe technology and even in this case I had to use a third-party cover with a MagSafe ring. The case is quite thick but did not impact charging at all, but probably an iPhone 12 or higher, without a cover, could benefit from an even more efficient charging speed than my device.

Compared to other MagSafe chargers, the CABLETIME device has managed to maintain a constant charging speed, which when paired with a good power supply (maximum charging requires a USB-C car charger of over 30W) manages to reach performances of 15W for wireless mode and 20W for wired mode. And here is the magic, because you no longer have to choose who charges first. With a maximum wireless charging of 15W and a retractable USB-C + Lightning cable of 20W, this magnetic car mount offers full-speed wireless charging to both the driver and the passenger.

PROJECTED IMPACT
The CABLETIME charger has many advantages, such as its ability to hold your smartphone firmly in place via MagSafe even on the roughest of roads. It also allows you to orient your device in both portrait and landscape orientation, effectively transforming it into a phone holder. Designed for complete peace of mind, the precision-engineered anti-drop rear hook securely attaches the holder to your car's air vent without scratching, slipping or breaking. Whether you're driving on paved roads or negotiating potholes, your device stays locked in place for uninterrupted charging and visibility.
The ability to charge two smartphones at the same time is the real killer feature, but how much does it cost? Well, you can buy the CABLETIME charger on the official website for around $26,99 plus shipping costs unless you spend at least $30 on the site. A price that I think is on fire, but if you prefer to buy on Amazon, I'll leave you the link to a valid alternative, practically a rebrand of the product.
