New update for the Mi Fit app: with version 2.2.9 a new feature has been introduced for the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 which finally allows you to monitor physical activity indoors.
The new “Indoor Run” mode can be selected from the “running” icon on the home page whenever the run is taking place inside a building, for example on a treadmill, thus allowing the recording of the distance covered.
Previously, the Mi Band was designed to monitor only running in open-air places, while this new feature can also be useful for those who do not like to run outside the home or prefer to go to the gym, thus pushing the purchase even in periods such as those in winter where temperatures often do not tempt you to go out.
