We specify that at the moment the new MIUI 12 Gallery arrives in the form of an update to version 2.2.16.17 and that theoretically it should be available only for ROM China and therefore not Global and that its changelog mentions verbatim:

In my case I did the test with a Mi Note 10 and everything works wonders if not that the application is now in English but poco bad.
