The new Lenovo Yoga notebook line has been unveiled: features, availability and prices

The range Lenovo Yoga continues to evolve. The new notebooks, mainly composed of super-portable models of the Slim line, will arrive in Italy starting this summer, with a starting price of 1099 euros. In this in-depth analysis we see the characteristics of each device, in addition to the launch price.

Lenovo Yoga 7

Available in 14 "and 16" sizes, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro in its smallest version has screens ranging from a resolution 2.2K IPS to a 2.8K OLED. The refresh rate varies from 60Hz to 120Hz of the 2.8K OLED. They are not touch screens but they support all Dolby Vision. In its large 16 "version, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro has a 2.5 K IPS display, 500 nits, 100% sRGB coverage, 165 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and touch.

As for the hinge, the 14 ″ notebook folds up to 180 °, while the 16 ° cannot exceed 150 °. From the hardware point of view, the 14th can count on AMD Ryzen 6900HS, 6800HS o 6600HS all Creators Edition and up to 16 GB of RAM, while for the 16 "the most performance of the three AMDs is not expected but reaches up to 32 GB. Up to 1TB of M.2 PCIe SSD space for both, but for the 16 ”it is Gen 4 type.

At the graphics card level, AMD's Radeon is integrated in the 14 ", while for the 16" we also have the GeForce RTX 3050 and 3030Ti. Battery chapter: the 14 ″ integrates one from 61 Wh, while that of 16 ″ arrives at 75 Wh. There are also 2 Dolby Atmos speakers for both and WiFi 6, as well as two USB-C-PD ports. All this at a weight of about 1,31 kg for the 14 "and 2,1 kg for the 16".

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro

Also noteworthy is the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X, which can boast a IPS display from 14,5 ″ with 3K resolution, 400 nits, factory calibrated 100% sRGB, 120 Hz with Nvidia G-Sync, and Dolby Vision. It also has a hinge that makes it fold up to 180 °.

As for the performance side, the processors are always AMD Ryzen 6900HS, 6800HS or 6600HS all Creators Edition. The matching graphics card can also be one GeForce TRX 3050 4GB or one GTX 1650 from 4 GB. On the memory side, it integrates up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB M.4 Gen1 SSD. Present two Dolby Atmos speakers.

As for connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 6E, two USB-C 3.2 Gen2 Display Port 1.4, PD 3.0; a USB-A 3.2 Gen1 including a Battery Charging 1.2, and an audio combo jack. It weighs 1,45 kg. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro X has a starting price of 1.599 €.

Yoga Slim 7i Pro

We continue with Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro, present in the 14 "and 16" cuts. Compared to the other models, the main difference here is the Intel's latest generation processors: you go from i5-1240P to i7-12700H for the 14 ", while the 16" can only choose i5-12500H (2nd wave) or i7-12700H. The display specifications are identical to the Slim 7 Pro with AMD processors, as is the hinge.

Graphics cards for 14 ″ can be chosen from a GeForce RTX 2050, a GeForce MX550 or an integrated Iris Xe. The 16 ″ has only a new but very interesting one available Intel Arc A370M. Memory chapter: the 14 "provides 8 or 16 GB of RAM, while the 16" only cuts from 16 GB. The M.2 SSD is up to 1TB, and is Gen3 for the bigger Yoga.

There are also two Dolby Atmos speakers, while the 14 "battery reaches up to 11 hours of autonomy, the 16" reaches 12 hours. In terms of connectivity, the 14 "has Wi-Fi 6E, while the 16" stops at Wi-Fi 6. The little one has one USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and two USB-C Thunderbolt 4; the big only one Thunderbolt 4 but two USB-A, also has the slot for MicroSd and HDMI 2.0. Same features as its brother equipped with aAMD processors, but Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro X can boast processors such as Intel i7-12700H, i7-12650H or i5-12500H. To change, however, is also the allocation of ports: this notebook boasts two Thunderbolt 4, to which is added a USB-A 3.2 Gen1 with Battery Charging 1.2 and an HDMI 2.0. Yoga Slim 7i Carbon

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon differs from the others first of all by its weight: only 0,97 kg. Merit of carbon and magnesium alloy frame. It has Intel i7-1240P or i5-1240P processors, up to 32GB RAM, up to 1TB on M.2 SSD.
