No more trouble receiving notifications on your Xiaomi smartphone!

Lately, less is happening, but sometimes the Notifications of your apps they are late to arrive or arrive only when you open the app. Who has never happened to find 20 unread messages by opening Whatsapp, for example? With these very short and very simple guide, today we will help you to have no more Notifications receiving issues on your Xiaomi smartphone. Just a few steps and a bit of patience.

The MIUI ROMs have one automatic management system of battery saver for single app that will set their wake up depending on the type of app. Sometimes, however, it is necessary to teach MIUI to correctly choose applications or, at least, to "study them" for good. To do this, you need some steps in the Security menu. Let's see what.

1

Step 1

Let's go in app Safety and then on Permissions. We will then be able to set the 'automatic startup for those apps that need to be notified in the background and in real time.

Remember that to run weather widgets or even your phone number counters you will need to enable their startup automatically!

Step 2

Now we can "teach" MIUI to recognize apps to handle differently. As? Nothing is easier.

Go to Settings, then in Battery and from there we click on Manage app consumption.

In the menu in front of you, clicking repeatedly on "Activate" will enable the Ultimate mode which will automatically freeze all the apps in the background and save you a lot of battery. Anyhow I do not advise you because you risk getting the opposite effect by forcing the system to reload the entire frozen process every time you call up the application.

Click on Choose Applications and here we will have the task of choose all apps from which to receive notifications and set them as "No restriction". Settled this mode for all the apps we want, we'll have to let the "system" work a couple of hours (or more) so that he receives notifications and that he realizes that the app will actually need to be awakened to receive notifications.

After the time has passed, we can restore apps for which we chose "No limitation" on the setting of "MIUI Battery Saver (recommended)"Continue to use our Xiaomi smartphone safely to get the much-wanted announcements!

Except for some apps that will warn you specifically, blocking apps in the background does not guarantee you will receive notifications!

Gmail / LiberoAPP push notifications continue to fail? What do I do?

Mail app users like gmail o LiberoAPP they must implement an arrangement that, despite them, drastically increases consumption: In order to receive the push notifications it will be it is necessary to keep automatic synchronization active!

Go to Settings, click Sync (on some devices, you reach the sync menu after clicking on Other Accounts), enable Auto Sync and uncheck "Wi-Fi only".

There are apps that manage your mailboxes without leaving automatic synchronization active and therefore providing you with less power consumption: Outlook, BlueMail, K-9 are just a few examples.
Enabling synchronization even under the data network will drastically increase your GigaByte consumption of your rate plan. So check that you have not enabled My Cloud Sync from settings - My Account - Mi Cloud otherwise the phone will synchronize all photos, videos and so on. I recommend disabling Mi Cloud synchronization and making a local backup of settings - additional settings - backup and restore - local backup - backup.

So for notifications, for example of WhatsApp, you don't need to have data synchronization ALWAYS active ?? Did I get it right?? I thought I was an Android expert but this shocked me! ^^ "
