Xiaomi week starts with a lot of new products presented on its website. In addition to the Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioning Companion 2, the Chinese giant has also released a new children's bike, the Ninebot Mountain Bike 18 ".
The bicycle has several features that we usually don't find on products of this category like disc brakes and shock absorbers, all for the price of only 999 Yuan (130 €).

The Ninebot Mountain Bike 18 ″ is suitable for children from 5 to 10 years of age and a height ranging from 115cm to 145cm. On the front of the bicycle we find large 40mm shock absorbers which, according to Xiaomi, greatly reduce the vibrations both on roads full of holes and uneven ground and mountain roads; let's say the minimum for a bike that calls itself "mountain bike"
Moving on to the wheels instead, both the front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes to increase braking power and consequently the safety of children. In addition, the chain has also been completely covered and hidden to prevent children from getting hurt. The chain cover then uses a material specifically created to reduce the noise coming from the chain and therefore make the ride more pleasant.
The Ninebot bike is available in two colors: Ice Crystal Blue and Pearl Red. While with regard to weight it settles on 11kg and can support people weighing up to 80kg.
The main material used is an aluminum alloy used in aeronautics, while the paint is water-based, therefore eco-friendly, not dangerous and without flavor. Finally, the seat is made of a highly elastic PU plastic material, which makes it very soft, comfortable and absorbs shocks.
The Ninebot Mountain Bike 18 ″ can now be purchased on the Xiaomi site (in China) for the price of 999 yuan, or 130 €.
