The nubia brand, a sub brand of ZTE, recently launched two new flagship devices: the nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version and nubia Z60S Pro. These smartphones promise to bring significant innovations in both hardware and software, with a focus on AI capabilities and camera performance.

nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version
The nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version comes with the Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This advanced chip includes a main Cortex-X4 CPU core with a frequency of 3.4GHz and an enhanced GPU of 1GHz. Nubia says this improved SoC will allow the Z60 Ultra to excel at AI tasks, with the ability to run on-device AI models with up to ten billion parameters.
The display of the Z60 Ultra Leading Version is a 6.8 inch AMOLED (FHD+ 120Hz) which integrates one 12MP under-display camera (UDC) for selfies. Thanks to an improved algorithm, photos taken with the front camera are clearer and more defined.
On the camera front, the NeoVision AI Photography System 2.0 brings significant improvements. The 35mm main sensor has been updated with a new IMX906 sensor, while the 18mm ultra-wide angle lens maintains a 50MP resolution but with a larger opening. There 64MP periscope camera (85mm) benefits from new AI capabilities for telephoto.
The software is based on Android 14 with customized interface My OS 14 of nubia. There battery remains at 6.000 mAh with support for 80W wired charging.
The nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version is available in Black and Silver colours and has a starting price of €729 for the basic version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Pre-orders are already open, while sales will officially begin on August 12th official website of nubia.
nubia Z60S Pro
Il nubia Z60S Pro it's the direct successor to last year's Z50S Pro and retains all the key specs of its predecessor, with some minor changes to the main 35mm camera which now features a larger sensor. Nubia has also added new AI features, including Magic Eraser, a starry sky algorithm, and a 65:24 ultra-wide cinema aspect ratio.
The cameras 8MP telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide angle have been maintained, as has the 6.8-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz). The Z60S Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The battery is 5.100 mAh with support for 80W charging.
The nubia Z60S Pro is available in Black, Aqua and White colours and has a starting price of €669 for the basic version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Also for this model, pre-orders are already open and sales will begin on August 12th official website of nubia.
