Today we talk about the S Lite version of the successful Amazfit Bip smartwatch series!
The technical specifications still improve compared to the previous models, let's see them together: starting from the size, the device measures 4.2 x 3.53 x 1.14 cm for a total weight of 31 g (with the strap), or one gram more and less, respectively, of its predecessor. The body of the frame is in polycarbonate while the material of the strap is the classic one in silicone and hypoallergenic TPU. As for the display we have a 1.28 ″ transflective (TFT) screen that guarantees excellent readability even in direct sunlight, with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels and the much loved always-on display feature. The touch screen panel is 2.5 D type and is covered with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 + an anti-fingerprint layer.
In terms of functionality, there is also an optical sensor for detecting heart rate, an acceleration sensor and a geomagnetic sensor. As for the heart rate sensor, the detection area is 3 times larger than that of the previous generation, the LED light intensity is 7 times that of before and the accuracy of heart rate monitoring has improved at 98%, all using only one fifth of the power that was previously used.
As for connectivity we find Bluetooth 5.0. There is also support for music control, weather forecast, alarm, clock, call notifications and message notifications. The battery is 200 mAh and will allow, thanks to the Amazfit OS operating system, excellent autonomies (up to 30 days): 13 sports activities are integrated in the output with the hope that they will become 80 as for the Stratos 3.
