OnePlus 10T is so tender that it breaks like a breadstick

Known for his extreme methods of smartphone testing, Zach Nelson aka Jerry rig everything tested the OnePlus 10T. Previously, he had a OnePlus 10 Pro in his hands, which himself is broken unexpectedly and quickly. This time, the tech blogger expressed hope that the new version of the device will perform better and started scratching and bending the device. Unfortunately, however, the result was the same.

The OnePlus 10T stress test by Jerry Rig Everything shows that the smartphone is not resistant at all. It's a sugar!

First of all Nelson checked the OnePlus 10T's screen resistance to mechanical damage. The miracle did not happen: obvious scratches after level 6 of the punch and deep scratches after level 7. Then the rear panel of the device was tested. The glass resisted damage attempts with a Swiss knife well: although traces of impact were visible, they were barely noticeable due to the matte surface.

Further under the knife went the device chassis. Contrary to the blogger's expectations, this turned out to be be plastic, not metal, which is why it gave way easily to the blade. Unlike the camera glass, it could not be damaged in this way. The next component to be tested is the screen, which has been tested since The fire. The matrix started to turn white at 20 ° and after cooling it was unable to fully recover.

Finally, the author of the video verified the survival of the OnePlus 10T by folding it from the side of the back cover. The devastation: it broke along the line just below the camera. It is interesting to note that the screen worked even when bent almost 90 degrees. Summarizing the video, the tech blogger concluded that the OnePlus 10T turned out to be slightly stronger than the OnePlus 10 Pro, but is still prone to mechanical failures in the same spots.
