OnePlus has revealed the Pad 2 Pro, the new high-end tablet intended to succeed last year's Pad Pro. The device maintains the brand's philosophy, with premium hardware and some predictable improvements, but also more obvious upgrades in terms of performance and battery life.

The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro features a 13,2-inch IPS LCD display with 7:5 aspect ratio and 3.4K resolution, delivering vivid colors and sharp details. The refresh rate remains at 144Hz, as in the previous model, but the maximum brightness in high brightness mode now reaches 900 nits, ensuring optimal viewing even in bright environments.
Performance-wise, the Pad 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which replaces the previous-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chipset ensures a smooth and responsive experience, ideal for multitasking and gaming. The device is paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage, improving data transfer speed and energy efficiency.
The tablet works with Android 15 customized with ColorOS 15, bringing new optimizations and features to improve usability.
The photographic sector remains unchanged compared to the previous generation, with a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front camera, designed for video calls and quick shots.
On the connectivity front, the Pad 2 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, enabling fast connections and contactless payments.
One of the most important updates concerns the battery, which goes from 9.510mAh to 12.140mAh, ensuring extended autonomy and longer duration between charges. However, the speed of Charging remains at 67W, via USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, while still offering fast charging times.
The Pad 2 Pro includes eight speakers, improving sound quality compared to the previous model.
The device's design has been updated, with a weight of 675 grams and a thickness of 5,97mm, making it thinner than the previous generation, but slightly heavier than the 584g of the Pad Pro.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro starts at 3199 yuan (about 399 euros), placing it slightly above the price of the Pad Pro, which started at 2999 yuan for the 8GB + 256GB configuration.
