OnePlus shows its mechanical keyboard preview

As we often say, a proper technology company cannot have only one product like smartphones in its catalog. It is good that the devices are a driving force, but that there are also other accessories for fans of the brand. So OnePlus is thinking about the mechanical keyboard. The complete opposite of those of MacBooks, with little feedback (although excellent): we go back in time with large keys and lots of touch feedback. Let's see it together.

A new post from the Chinese company previews the OnePlus mechanical keyboard. Here's how it will be: full of goodies for the fans!

OnePlus has officially confirmed the imminent presentation of its first mechanical keyboard. The company also showed what the device looks like and talked about the main features. The debut OnePlus keyboard was developed with the support of Keychron, an expert company in this field. It will be mechanical with the possibility of both wired connection via USB Type-C and wireless via Bluetooth. To do this, a three-position switch is provided on the back - the middle position will turn off the device. There will also be a two-position switch responsible for switching between Windows and macOS. Linux support is provided.

The keyboard case will be made of aluminum, and a special “leg” will allow you to adjust the angle of inclination. The company also indicates the presence of RGB backlighting and the possibility of simple key remapping. The unveiling of the keyboard is scheduled for February 7 in India. According to rumors, it will cost around $120 at launch. Together with her, the global versions of the smartphone will be presented OnePlus 11 and headphones OnePlus Bud Pro 2.

Interestingly, prior to the release of the keyboard, OnePlus created a poll on its forum asking in which area the company should introduce something new. Most of the voices in the community turned out to be on the side of the mechanical keyboard. In any case, it must be emphasized that the product, as well as the monitor, will only debut in India at the beginning.
